Olathe Bible Church

Our HistoryIn the summer of 1980, a handful of believers began meeting and praying about planting a non-denominational church in Olathe, Kan. On Sept. 7, 1980, Olathe Bible Church held its first worship service at Santa Fe Trail Junior High School. Since the beginning, we have sought to positively impact our community and world for eternity.
Over the last 30 years, God has used Olathe Bible Church in tremendous ways. We still desire to passionately follow Jesus by making disciples amongst our kids, youth and adults. We spread the message of God’s love by meeting the existing and emerging needs of our local community. But it doesn’t stop there.
Olathe Bible Church desires to be a reproducing church. To do that, we cultivate and develop leaders who are willing to go out and plant other disciple-making churches. So far, we have been a part of starting six local churches:
We also support and invest in missionaries globally and have helped to start more than 100 churches in countries around the world. It has been exciting to see God do so much. And the best part is our story isn’t finished. God is still at work.
