Wheels 'n' Squeels BBQ Challenge" is a sanctioned KCBS contest, designated by the Governor of Kansas as a state BBQ championship.  Along with these distinctions and over $10,000 in prize money awarded to our champions and the top 5 finishers in each of the contest categories, our sausage champions, our dessert champions and our Kids Q Burger champions, we are excited about our 4th Annual "Wheels 'n' Squeels BBQ Challenge" this summer and plans are underway to make this KCBS sanctioned BBQ championship contest a memorable one for all!

CONTEST INFORMATION

Entry Fee is $235.00 and includes (fee increases to $260 after 7/7/12):

  • entry in all four KCBS categories (Chicken, Pork Ribs, Pork, Beef Brisket)
  • Friday night Kids Q "Burgers Challenge"
  • "Anything Goes" Dessert Challenge
  • 30' x 30' BBQ Team space (30' x 50' spaces are available for an additional charge)
  • special "Wheels 'n' Squeels BBQ Challenge" grill plaque
  • Lunch on Friday for those teams on site (11:30a - 1:30p)
  • breakfast on Saturday morning
  • complimentary case of water (August can be hot!)
  • and more surprises for your Friday and Saturday experiences!

The "Wheels 'n' Squeels BBQ Challenge" will be held on the grounds of Olathe Bible Church, located at 13700 W 151st Street in Olathe, KS (click here for directions).

All Entries: I understand that no refund of the entry fee will be made once I have been accepted into the contest. I agree to abide by all rules, regulations and decisions of Wheels ‘n’ Squeels BBQ Challenge, Olathe Bible Church and KCBS rules. In consideration of the Cruise-In Car Show & Family Spectacular, of which Wheels 'n' Squeels BBQ Challenge is a part, we ask that you please refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages during the sanctioned event.
 
Waiver of Liability: In consideration of accepting this entry, I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against the promoters and sponsors of the Wheels 'n' Squeels BBQ Challenge, Olathe Bible Church, KCBS, and their agents, successors and assigns for any and all injuries suffered by me and my team in the event. Further, I grant full permission to Olathe Bible Church and/or agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, video tapes, motion pictures, recording or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
