OBC is planning two GO Journeys to Panama to help construct a Pastor Training Center, which will be used to train pastors for unreached villages in the jungles of eastern Panama. The first trip will be March 12-21, to put up walls. Team size is limited to 12 men (and their sons age 15 and older). The cost is $750 per family to help fund construction of the facility plus travel costs (which will be about $650 per person).
Dates: March 27 - April 8
A group of 19 (9 from OBC) will head out on a "GO Journey" to Ethiopia. The purpose of the journey is three-fold. It is a vision trip where we prayerfully seek to follow God in ministry, looking for contacts and open doors. Secondly, we will seek to meet physical needs. There will be six medical personnel on the trip who will come alongside church-based medical clinics to provide free medical assistance to those in need. Also, a team will be researching ways to help provide pure water in future journeys. Finally, there will be two teaching teams providing training to over 200 pastoral leaders in five different cities. Pray for God’s guidance for the Ethiopia team as we seek to "Declare His glory among the nations".

South Africa
Dates: July 24 - August 9
Through The Sending Project, OBC will team up with a number of churches in the KC metro to minister to the children of South Africa. There will be AIDS education through the schools in a program called "Beat the Drum". This will be followed up with village work and laying a foundation for ongoing discipleship and the creation of churches.
East Asia
Dates: July 11 - July 23
This journey to East Asia will come along side two "business as mission" models that we have partnered with. First we will visit "Anapauso" the assisted living ministry that OBC has helped start. From there, we will travel across 500 miles of the high plateau and mountain passes north of the Himalayas to visit the rug factories to look and learn how we can be further involved in this exciting work.
South Asia
Dates: mid-November
This GO Journey focuses on coming alongside and providing training for national church leaders and church planters. The ministry partners that OBC has worked with in this region for 7 years have been fruitful in a variety of ministries throughout North India, Nepal and Myanmar. We will also be visiting the orphanage in Siliguri, India that is being constructed in partnership with WAASTA called, "Happy Home for Girls". We anticipate exploring the possibility of expanding partnerships into Bangladesh.
